At Retail
- We'll cost-share consumer based research to determine exactly what your customers want in a quality beef product.
- We will work with retailers by cost sharing the development of private label beef programs that define your beef program, building the unique points of difference that will grow your beef category in today’s competitive marketplace.
- We work with retailers to create “Country of Origin” compliant merchandizing initiatives that meet the changing needs of the consumer, building unique points of difference at the meat counter to enhance profit.
- We will cost share support for mass marketing efforts to grow beef sales and position your beef program as a leader in your market.
- We can assist with in-store team training to build the knowledge and confidence of your meat department staff, enabling them to communicate directly with customers which facilitates category growth based on a loyal customer base.
- We have a wealth of experience to share in delivering beef programs to ethnic markets (Halal, Hispanic, Asian etc.) and we can help you build programs specifically suited to the unique needs of these markets.
At the Distributor
- We work with both foodservice and retail distributors to develop private label, branded beef programs that are "Country of Origin" compliant and also meet (and exceed) the expectations of your customers.
- We'll cost-share the development of customized promotional and point of sale materials to support your sales teams.
- We'll demonstrate our Canadian beef products to your distributor sales teams and provide them with the training and technical materials they need to promote your brand and the Canadian beef advantage to your customers.
- We can present cutting and merchandising demonstrations to sales teams and customers, presentations that highlight Canadian beef versatility and creativity.
- We will facilitate trade missions to Canada for your qualified buyers so they can meet with packers and suppliers and experience the Canadian beef advantage first hand.
- We'll incorporate your strategic thinking into customized market development activities that grow the volume and the value of your beef category with the Canadian Beef Advantage.
For Processors
- We will work with you to build understanding of the technical aspects of Canadian beef and how our food safety and beef quality systems offer today’s manufacturer a product they can trust and rely on to deliver results.
